It's an immense joy to create these pieces of art and such a pleasure to share them with you. I've been painting with natural pigments that I make myself with organic material I find in nature, soil, ash, stones, charcoal etc... I use the old techniques of a mortar and pestle and the strength of the arm, as well as acrylic and other mixed mediums. I'm in search of an organic feel to the painting, visually and in texture. Something that lets our imagination run wild, flowing with the movements of the earth, leaving space for interpretation and emotion to just be, no need to rationalize, but just experience in the moment and capture a bit of our nature and bring it into our home. I hope you enjoy these paintings as much I did creating them.
